Blush and Honey Paper: Have you ever wanted so badly to visit a place as it was THEN?⠀ ⠀ This home belonged to my great grandparents and was where they raised LOTS of children (big Catholic family), cooked countless meals, and celebrated holidays in Cairo, Illinois.⠀ ⠀ I personally do not have a memory of the home ever looking like this but with input from my family for paint colors and little details like the American flag that was always present and my Grandpa Bob's little red wagon, I hope that I was able to do this important home justice. ⠀ ⠀ I love how through painting, we can create a merge memory with reality to tell a story.
